Do you know a student, staff, or faculty member who goes above and beyond the call of duty to improve graduate student life at UCSB?
If so, nominate that individual for the 2014 Dixon-Levy GSA Service Award.
Here are the award details from the GSA website:
"In 1998, the GSA established the Travis Dixon GSA Service Award, in recognition of graduate student Travis Dixon’s many years of service to the GSA. In 2002, the GSA renamed the award as the Dixon-Levy GSA Service Award, in recognition of graduate student Alan Levy’s many years of service to the GSA. The dual name of the award acknowledges that service to graduate students at UCSB comes in many forms, not only through serving as an elected GSA Officer, but also through advocacy of graduate student interests in a variety of other ways.
To nominate an individual, please fill out the 2014 Dixon-Levy GSA Service Award form and describe in detail the actions taken by the nominee to justify him or her receiving this prestigious award. GSA will be awarding three to four Dixon-Levy GSA Service Awards this year. All graduate students, undergraduate students, administrators, faculty, and staff are eligible for the award."
- Nomination deadline is May 13.
- Award recipients will be notified Tuesday, May 27.
- Award recipients will be announced during the GSA Assembly Meeting on Tuesday, June 3.
