  The MultiCultural Center at UCSB is seeking a temporary Program Coordinator to research, plan, oversee, and implement a wide array of educational programs for the campus community. This position is particularly well-suited to graduate students and partners.

Six-Month Temporary Program Coordinator

Approximate Duration: Mid-October 2016 to early April 2017

Salary: Commensurate with ​experience

Duties:

  • Programs and events will range from lectures and discussions to films, musical performances, spoken-word events, and workshops.
  • Topics will include a wide range of experiences rooted in race, class, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression, ethnicity, legal status, ability, faith, and other issues pertaining to marginalized communities.
  • Serve as liaison to various departments, faculty, and student organizations as needed.
  • Monitoring and evaluation as needed.
  • 25-30 events per quarter.
