On Wednesday, August 28, Academic Advisors from the Graduate Division will be available to meet with students individually to conduct formatting pre-checks and answer questions about the process of filing a master's thesis, doctoral dissertation, or DMA supporting document. Individual sessions are available between 9-â11:00am.

In addition, our Academic Counselor will be available during this time for support, referrals, and tips to get you through the thesis/dissertation writing process!
- Referrals to campus resources for academic writing, career counseling
- Tips on time-management, communication with advisors, etc.
Workshop Pre-Preparation (Required):
- Watch the following video tutorials before the session:
- Review the Step-by-Step-FILING-TUTORIAL PDF
- Write down all of your questions to bring to the workshop
- Print out your thesis or dissertation draft (or just the preliminary pages and one chapter) to bring to the workshop for a "pre-check."
