Wellness and Work-life Balance
The first-year MFA students at UCSB will present their work to the public at an exhibition in the Red Barn. Six artists will be featured in this show: Rose Briccetti, Marcos Christodoulou, Yumiko Glover, Sunny Samuel, Peter Sowinski, and Scotty Slade Wagner.
Smorgasbord is a Swedish word combining the âwords for "bread", "butter," and "table," which is also a good way to describe the mix of works currently on display at the UCSB First-Year MFA Art Exhibition. The exhibit is currently on display at the Red Barn and features a range of art - from performance and video, to painting, sculpture, and installation - from six artists: Rose Briccetti, Marcos Christodoulou, Yumiko Glover, Sunny Samuel, Peter Sowinski, and Scotty Slade Wagner.
Scotty will be giving two live performances of "1,000 Years of Trial Child," a new sci-fi tragicomedy in the gallery spaceâ on Wednesday, May 4, at 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 12, at 8 p.m. All are welcome.
