Awards up to $1000 are granted to eligible graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who wish to individually tailor their career paths with outside professional development opportunities. The UCSB Individualized Professional Skills (IPS) program has now reopened for the 2019-20 academic year, and we are accepting applications for travel/experience dates from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020. Awards up to $1000 âare granted to eligible UCSB graduate students and postdoctoral scholars from any discipline who wish to individually tailor their career paths with outside professional development opportunities. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis and as funding sources permit. Please note that in the upcoming application cycle, priority will be given to applicants who have not received an IPS grant before.
