RMP is a highly selective and competitive six-week summer program that engages qualified, talented high school students from all over the world in interdisciplinary, hands-on, university-level research. We are seeking mentors who can guide students through a research project in STEM, humanities, social sciences, or education.
RMP is offered during Summer Session A (June 26 - August 4, 2023).
Mentor Stipend: $1,200 per project per student
- Prospective Mentors may submit up to 2 projects (up to 2 students per project for a compensation of up to $4,800).
- The proposed project must have a hands-on component (lab, field, computational, theory, archival, primary source analysis, etc.).
- RMP students are highly qualified and expected to work independently. However, Mentors must meet mentees regularly to guide students through the project.
Please note:
- RMP students are highly prepared -- they have taken advanced high school and college courses, and have extensive programming, lab, and primary source analysis experience.
- Mentors may be employed up to 100% over the summer.
- The deadline to submit project proposals is June 1, 2023. However, space is limited! Mentor applications are accepted and approved on a rolling basis.
