New UCSB program to help you apply for the International Dissertation Fellowship

Check out this new proposal development program with the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) that will help you craft your submission for the International Dissertation Research Fellowship (IDRF) program. The IDRF program is open to graduate students in the humanities and social sciences and supports between 6-12 months of research conducted outside of the United States. Apply by August 21st!

Due August 7: apply for paid positions with the UC Graduate and Professional Council

The University of California Graduate and Professional Council (UCGPC) is inviting applications for the paid positions of Director of Legislative Affairs, Director of Campaigns, and Director of Outreach. The UCGPC is the graduate student body that advocates for the interests of all graduate students from the UC system. The positions are paid $200 per month and offer a wealth of experience in supporting student advocacy and understanding the UC bureaucratic system. Applications are due TOMORROW, August 7.
