UCSB's Graduate Center for Literary Research (GCLR) is now accepting abstracts for their annual conference, which will be held in hybrid format on June 5. This year's theme is "Forked Tongues: The Role of (Foreign) Languages in Literature, Film, and the Arts." Abstracts are due soon, on March 11. Each year the Graduate Student Association (GSA) grants awards for Excellence in Teaching by graduate student TA's, as well as awards for service to the graduate student community. These are the GSA Excellence in Teaching Award (ETA) and the Dixon-Levy GSA Service Award. The calls for nominations are now open and will end on February 28, 2022. You may nominate yourself!
