Kristina Brown and Ashley Bradbury from the Graduate Division's Academic Services unit will offer a workshop on formatting and filing your dissertation/thesis on Tuesday, May 17, from 9-11 a.m. in the Student Resource Building Multipurpose Room.

Karen Lunsford of the UCSB Writing Program will lead an interactive workshop on techniques for managing your life as a writer, planning your next writing project, and avoiding writer's block.

This panel will discuss approaches for TAs and teaching associates to maintaining a safe and respectful classroom environment that promotes the open exchange of ideas, reflection, and learning.

Registration is open for the Summer Teaching Institute for Associates (STIA). STIA supports graduate students as they design and teach summer courses as the Instructor of Record.
