The organizing committee is seeking nominations for students to be considered for the 22nd annual St. Jude Children's Research Hospital National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS) and the 9th annual Future Fellow Research Conference (FFRC). The NGSS and FFRC are all-expenses-paid symposia to which top Ph.D. students from around the country are invited to participate. Faculty nominations are due by October 16.

South Orange County Community College District's (SOCCCD) Faculty Internship Program, known as Building Leadership Opportunities through Outstanding Mentorship (B.L.O.O.M.), is now accepting applications for its Spring 2024 program. The intent of the B.L.O.O.M. program is to increase the diversity pipeline of future community college faculty within SOCCCD and/or other California Community Colleges. Appliations due October 16.

Applications are now open for the Supporting Outstanding Academic Research (SOAR) Awards. The selection committee is soliciting applications from post-doctoral researchers and graduating PhD students in Psychology, Neuroscience, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, or related fields with identities or perspectives under-represented in science and/or research interests that foster inclusivity in behavioral and brain sciences. The application for the 2024 Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program is now open. This program brings graduate students and early-career professionals to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. The 2024 Fellowship will run from March 4-May 24, 2024.
