The UCSB Graduate Division is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Programming Assistant. This position provides programming and resources that help graduate students and postdoctoral scholars develop the skills to become effective professionals in a variety of careers. The position runs through the 2023-24 academic year and is renewable for subsequent years. Applications are due by 11:59pm on Aug 20.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is a highly competitive international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. In the 2023-24 award cycle, 11 students applied from UCSB, 9 were selected as semi-finalists, one was selected as an alternate, and 3 were selected as finalists. Congratulations to these outstanding students!

Robby joined the Graduate Division in 2018 and has left an indelible mark on our campus and our graduate student population. Career Services at UC Santa Barbara seeks an enthusiastic professional to fill the role of Assistant Director, Graduate Career Education. As part of a dynamic team of career services professionals, the Assistant Director functions with a high degree of autonomy to provide leadership as well as direct career support services to Master's and Ph.D. students and eligible alumni in various settings.

CARE is hiring for a Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) position. The GSR is expected to maintain ongoing development for graduate student education and is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing research‐informed and evidence‐based prevention programs for the campus community. Apply by May 28th.

Nominations are open for two awards honoring graduate students who have distinguished themselves as mentors of undergraduates. Each of the eight recipients will receive a $1,000 award. The deadline to nominate is Monday, May 8, 2023.

The ONDAS Student Center is hiring a Graduate Student Program Assistant for the 2023-2024 academic year. The position begins in Summer 2023 and the first review of applicants will be May 15.

UCSB Career Services and the GSRC are recruiting two Graduate Career positions, to begin employment in Summer 2023 and run through Spring quarter 2024. The position will help graduate students on issues related to career development including direct service and programming development and support.
