The Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education (CARE) office is the primary office on campus responsible for providing education about sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. We provide response to and advocacy for survivors and significant others of interpersonal violence on campus. CARE also provides prevention education to students, organizations, and groups across campus on issues related to interpersonal violence, including consent, rape culture, bystander intervention, how to help a friend, and how to connect with CARE.

CARE is hiring for a Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) position from June 20, 2023 to June 31, 2024. The GSR must be a currently enrolled UCSB graduate student in good academic standing who is self-driven, independent, and demonstrates strong initiative. The GSR is expected to maintain ongoing development for graduate student education and is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing research‐informed and evidence‐based prevention programs for the campus community.
