Professor Shelly Lundberg from the UCSB Department of Economics is seeking a graduate student Administrative Assistant to assistant with some temporary, part-time work now through August 30, 2018, or possibly longer.

The Data Incubator is an intensive 8-week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and supported by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries.

Procore is seeking a Technical Writer to author, edit, and review product documentation on financial tools (e.g. Budget, Prime Contract, Commitments, etc.). Graduate students with strong writing skills are encouraged to apply as they are looking to fill the role immediately.

The Kennedy/Graves award supports undergraduate and graduate students in any academic discipline who are doing research that pertains to Black Studies. The award also recognizes engaged scholarship that promotes social justice and transformative education. Applications are currently being accepted until March 23, 2018.

UCSB's Research Mentorship Program is seeking graduate students, postdocs, and researchers for a paid mentorship opportunity this summer in a wide range of disciplines. Join as a mentor and help create an academically inspiring summer for the next generation of researchers. Program duration is June 25 to August 3, 2018.

Come and join for a reception and awards ceremony of the fifth annual Art of Science competition on Thursday, March 15, where the 2018 winners will be announced. Winning entries will be on exhibit at the UCSB Library beginning in summer quarter.

Family Ultimate Science Exploration (FUSE) is a program for underrepresented students and their families to gain familiarity with the practice of science. If you are interested in becoming a FUSE volunteer, please attend the training session on Thursday, March 15.
