NSF Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) - GROW expands opportunities for U.S. graduate students to engage in international research collaboration. GROW is open to only active awardees of the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). Competitions in the past have been for collaborative research in the GROW partner countries are: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Denmark, Finland, France, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden and Switzerland.
NSF Graduate Internship Program (GRIP) expands opportunities for NSF Graduate Fellows to enhance their professional development by engaging in mission related research experiences with partner agencies across the federal government. Agencies include:
- Census - U.S. Census Bureau
- DHS - Department of Homeland Security
- EPA - Environmental Protection Agency
- FBI - Federal Bureau of Investigation
- NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
- ONR - Office of Naval Research
- SI - Smithsonian Institution
- USDA - Department of Agriculture
- USGS - U.S. Geological Survey
