As part of the multi-university Partnership for Faculty Diversity, the University of California President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is now accepting applications from outstanding women and minority Ph.D. recipients who wish to pursue academic careers at the University of California.
OVERVIEW
The program offers postdoctoral research fellowships and faculty mentoring to outstanding scholars in all fields whose research, teaching, and service will contribute to the diversity and equal opportunity at any one of the University of California's ten campuses. Such contributions may include public service towards increasing equitable access in fields where women and minorities are underrepresented and research focusing on underserved populations or understanding inequalities related to race, gender, disability or LGBT.
The goal of the program is to provide research opportunities and career development for scholars whose work will enhance the diversity of the UC academic community. Approximately 75% of UC President's Postdoctoral Fellows have received tenure track faculty appointments. Since 2003, over 100 former fellows received faculty appointments at University of California campuses. Each award is for a minimum of 12-months (2021-2022) and may be renewable for an additional term.

AWARD
Salary starting at approximately $53,460, depending on field and experience.
Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation/sick leave, and up to $5,000 for research-related expenses.

The application is open to US citizens and non-citizens who are authorized to work in the U.S.
