The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program supports future generations of leaders in science, technology, engineering, and math. Five postdoctoral scholarships will be given out per participating university for the 2022-2023 academic year. The first deadline to apply is Jan. 15, 2022.
OVERVIEW
The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program supports future generations of leaders in science, technology, engineering, and math. They provide scholarships for postdoctoral students from premier universities in the United States to conduct research at one of seven Israeli universities. Once the postdoc scholars complete their research in Israel, many of them are expected to accept faculty positions at top North American universities. In addition, the program provides support to Israeli PhD graduates who have been accepted to a postdoctoral program with a stipend at an American university, thus creating a cycle of excellence.
DEADLINE
January 15, 2022; second deadline: March 31, 2022.
AWARD
$52,000 per year for up to two years.
ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates must be citizens of the United States or Canada or have a documented status that allows them to study and work in the US.
- Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree from a premier university, or if still studying for a Ph.D., must submit their Ph.D. thesis before October 1, 2022.
