OVERVIEW
The Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation invites applications from highly talented graduate students in New England and California for Switzer Environmental Fellowships for the academic year 2021-2022. The Fellowship includes a $15,000 cash award for academic studies, two multi-day leadership development training sessions, and membership in the Switzer Fellowship Network. Twenty fellowships will be awarded to assist graduate students in a broad range of environmental science and related fields.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be enrolled full time in a graduate program at any institution in CA or New England for the 2021-2022 academic year. All U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients are encouraged to apply.

INFO SESSION
On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 9 a.m. PST / Noon EST, the Switzer Foundation will offer an information session for interested applicants. Foundation staff and recent fellows will share basic information about the fellowship and the Switzer Network, and there will be time for Q&A from applicants. A Zoom link will be shared on the foundation's website. The presentation portion of the session will be recorded for applicants who are unable to join the live session.
