Embark, Gladstone’s Presidential Postdoctoral Program, aims to increase the representation of underrepresented groups within the sciences and at Gladstone. They are now accepting applications on a rolling basis. Read on to learn more!
Embark, Gladstone's Presidential Postdoctoral Program, aims to increase the representation of underrepresented groups within the sciences and at Gladstone (an independent, nonprofit life science research organization). This program was launched in 2021 as part of their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
In addition to receiving a postdoctoral salary based on years of experience, and Gladstone's full benefits package, participants will receive a stipend of $10,000 for the period of the program.

Eligibility

Must have completed degree requirements for a PhD or MD/PhD prior to the start of the program.

Be a part of a group that has been traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, as defined by the NIH, or have demonstrated support for underrepresented groups through their teaching, service, and research.

Must be a postdoc candidate who is being recruited by Gladstone. Current Gladstone postdocs are not eligible.

United States citizens or permanent residents encouraged to apply.

- Demonstrated academic and scientific proficiency
- Commitment to research as seen through scientific publications
- Leadership skills and potential to be a successful independent scientist
