The Fannie and John Hertz Foundation is inviting interested applicants for Fall 2022 Graduate Fellowships in Applied Physical, Biological, or Engineering Sciences to attend the informational session. The Hertz Foundation is dedicated to advancing groundbreaking applied science with real-world benefits for all humanity. The Foundation is an incubator of innovation through its prestigious fellowship program supporting the nation's most promising young scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. The Hertz Foundation mission is to provide unique financial and fellowship support to the nation's most remarkable Ph.D. students in the physical, biological and engineering sciences.

Eligibility
All eligible applicants must:
- be college seniors, first-year graduate students, or in a gap year preparing to apply to graduate school
- intend to pursue a PhD in the applied physical and biological sciences, mathematics, or engineering
- intend to direct their studies toward understanding and solving major, near-term problems facing society
- be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
Award
The Hertz Fellowship compensation package includes a cost-of-education allowance and a personal stipend valued at up to $250,000.
