The UCSB Library will be offering an ORCID workshop for graduate students on Wednesday, June 7 from 12-1pm in Library Classroom 1312. ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a unique, persistent digital identifier that you own and control, and that distinguishes you from every other researcher.
This workshop will cover:
- Creating a free ORCID iD and managing your ORCID account
- Placing your publications in ORCID
- Funding, publisher, and research institution requirements
- Tips and tricks for the best use of ORCID, especially through name and institution changes
Please sign up for the session by filling out the registration form. This will ensure that you receive the pre-workshop email with instructions for what you need to do on your computer ahead of time.
