Trauma-Informed Classroom
Facilitator: Kristen Minami, Prevention Education Coordinator, CARE
Participants will be provided with an overview of trauma and how it impacts a student's learning and development. Participants will also gain the tools to recognize trauma in students, how it manifests in the classroom, and be aware of specific student groups that are at elevated risks for trauma. The presenters will support participants in developing and incorporating classroom-level strategies to be able to implement within their professional roles.
