A sold-out crowd at the Arlington Theater shared a musical treatâ on Valentine's Day-Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox.
Throughout the night, 15 talented musicians graced the stage, reworking pop hits with an impeccable vintage style. Singer/bassist Casey Abrams was a particular highlight, both for his rich vocals and smashing stage presence.
The audience loved the tap dancing sequences, drum-offs, horn section shenanigans, and numerous costume changes. After the show, a reception with the band gave fans more of a chance to delight in these talented performers while enjoying champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Scott Bradlee described the musical success of the group as a "moment in history... an exciting grassroots music movement" that has built millions of fans via YouTube (see All About that Bass). Bradlee said the act has featured over 50 artists and performed around the world.
