The UCSB Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE) office will be hosting focus groups for graduate students to learn about their experiences with CARE's educational programming regarding interpersonal violence. The CARE office provides confidential advocacy services to students, staff and faculty who have been impacted by sexual assault, dating/domestic, violence and stalking and works collaboratively to provide education to the campus community on the role that we each play in ending violence.
CARE utilizes evidence-based and research-informed approaches to prevention education and âthey assess âtheir initiatives on an ongoing basis. âThey are committed to incorporating student feedback into educational initiatives to best meet âstudent needs. The goal of âthe focus groups are to provide an opportunity to hear from graduate students across all departments who may or may not be familiar with the CARE office and are interested in providing feedback on what educational workshops and programs they would like to see on campus.
Join CARE for their first focus group on Thursday, November 30, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Student Resource Building Room 2154. They will be providing FREE pizza to participants.
