The Graduate Diversity Program is currently seeking volunteers for the upcoming first-generation panel, "Thriving, Not Surviving 2022: Navigating Higher Education as a First-Generation College Student." This event will run from 4-6pm on Wednesday, August 17.

Organizers are looking for graduate students who are:

  1. first-generation scholars;
  2. members of an under-represented community;
  3. experienced in working with first-generation college students; OR
  4. genuinely interested in mentoring and talking to undergraduates about the university experience.
