The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is excited to announce the inaugural DEI Summit: Another University is Possible, happening on Friday, April 14 from 9am-4pm at the Loma Pelona Center.

The DEI Summit is an opportunity to gather, share ideas, and build deeper communal relationships. In conversation with the campus community, there is not only a palpable frustration with the status quo, but also an overwhelming desire to collaborate in more impactful and empowering ways. The Office of DEI hopes you will join them at the Summit and begin to shape a new culture of coalition and community building on campus.

There will be panel discussions, lightning talks, info sessions and work groups, and a jazz house style celebration - all emphasizing creative and transformative ways to advance equity and justice in our community.

If you would like to join the summit this year, please RSVP.

If you are not able to attend the Summit this year, don't worry! The Summit is just the beginning. The DEI office will be announcing upcoming events and opportunities to collaborate in the weeks and months ahead, which will include working groups, communities of practice, and more.
