Graduate Student Workshop: Writing Effective Resumes & Cover Letters for Non-Academic Jobs
October 10, 10:30-11:30 a.m., SRB 2154
Come learn the basics of how to craft compelling application documents for use at the Career Fair.
Resume Drop-In Hours for Graduate Students
October 10, â1-3 p.m., âSRB 1216 (Graduate Student Resource Center)
âStop by with hard copies of your resume for a 10-15 minute resume critique. Attendance at these drop-in hours earns you an Early Admission pass for the Fall Career & Internship Fair.

Any field: October 5, â2-4 p.m., Career Services Courtyard
At this âtwo-day event, local employers will be available to give you advice on your resume. Be sure to bring hard copies of your resume. Attendance at one of these events earns you an Early Admission pass for the Fall Career & Internship Fair.
How to Work a Career Fair Workshop
STEM âstudents: October 4, 4-5 p.m., Career Services Room 1109
âAll fields: October 5, 4-5 p.m., Career Services Room 1109
Stick around after RESUME+ to hear employers provide tips about how you can make the most of attending the Career Fair. October 4 will be facilitated by recruiters from Procore and October 5 will be facilitated by recruiters from Yardi.
Fall Career & Internship Fair
Wednesday, October 12, at the Thunderdome (Events Center)
10â-11 a.m. Early Admission
11 a.m.-2 p.m. General Admission
In addition to over 100 employer representatives, there will also be a LinkedIn photo booth for you to take a professional profile picture. Download The Fairs App, which has information about employers and the jobs they are recruiting for. You can also filter employers who are looking specifically for Master's and Ph.D. students and star your favorite employers for quick access. Use the app on the day-of for a map to help you navigate the Thunderdome.
