OVERVIEW
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) Research and Academic Exchange at Harvard provides late-stage graduate students and postdocs from underrepresented backgrounds with a unique opportunity to engage in a week-long visit. During the visit, participants collaborate with Harvard faculty, access university resources, and expand their professional networks to support their academic careers.

DEADLINE
Applications for spring 2025 visits are open until November 1, 2024.

AWARD
Participants receive full reimbursement for travel, meals, and accommodation during their one-week visit.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be late-stage doctoral students or postdocs who are from, or support, historically underrepresented populations in academia, including racial/ethnic minorities, individuals with disabilities, those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and sexual or gender minorities. Doctoral students must have passed their qualifying exams.

DETAILS
Fellows engage in collaborative research, gain new insights, and build connections with Harvard faculty and peers. The visits focus on research and academic exchange in departments across the Divisions of Science, Social Science, Arts and Humanities, and the John A.
