GRAD 210 (College and University Teaching: From Theory to Practice) âis designed to give graduate students experience in applying pedagogical theories and evidence-based teaching into course design, implementation, assessment and evaluation. The course will launch in Spring 2017 and will be taught by Dr. Lisa Berry, Co-Chair of the UCSB Faculty Advisory Board and Senior Instructional Consultant at UCSB's Instructional Development. The course will also be offered during the 2017-18 academic year by Dr. Robert Hamm, the Graduate Division's Director of Graduate Student Professional Developmentâ.
Spring 2017 schedule: GRAD 210 lectures will be held on Tuesdays from 2-3:15 p.m. and discussion sessions will be on Thursdays from 2â-3:15 p.m.
