Do you have strong fluency in more than one language? Versatile Ph.D. will host a free AMA-style panel discussion for humanities and social science Ph.D.s on Careers in Language Translation from September 19-23.

Do you have strong fluency in ​more than one language? Ph.D.s with backgrounds in humanities and social science can find satisfying work as translators through being employed by an organization or as freelancers.

Versatile Ph.D. will host a free AMA-style panel discussion on Ph.D. Careers in Language Translation from September 19-23. All panelists are Ph.D.s or ABD in humanities or social science disciplines and are currently working as translators in a variety of settings.

Panel discussions are asynchronous: you are welcome to participate any time during the week that is convenient to you. Panelists introduce themselves Monday, September 19, and then Q&A occurs the rest of the week through Friday, September 23.

Stay tuned for upcoming panels throughout this ​academic year on the following topics: Careers in Medical Writing, Careers in Cultural Resource Management, Careers in Conservation, Careers in Think Tanks (both Humanities/Social Science Edition and STEM Edition).
