The UCSB Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education (CARE) office is hiring a Graduate Assistant for the 2017-2018 academic year and will be accepting applications from qualified graduate student applicants through Friday, July 21, 2017.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the CARE Graduate Assistant (GA) are to supervise a team of undergraduate student staff peer educators and to develop and organize prevention programming for the graduate student community. Preference will be given to applicants with supervisory experience and knowledge regarding interpersonal violence prevention.
Mission
CARE's mission is to anticipate and respond to the needs of students impacted by stalking, dating/domestic violence, and sexual assault by providing confidential advocacy and support as well as prevention education and programming. CARE also works collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to educate the campus community about the vital role that each of us has in ending interpersonal violence at UCSB.
