 The Journal of Mexican Studies/Estudios Mexicanos (published by UC Press) is currently seeking a graduate student assistant. Under the supervision of the Editor, ​the graduate student assistant will be in charge of contacting potential reviewers of submitted articles and getting articles through the review processes. This work on can be done from anywhere as long as you have access to a computer and internet.

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week (flexible)

Pay: $20 per hour

Requirements:

  • preferably bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • very organized and methodical
  • good attention to detail
  • able to work independently, quickly and accurately
  • must be available for immediate start
