The BioPACIFIC MIP Fellows Program is now accepting applications from Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Researchers to become a BioPACIFIC MIP Fellow. This unique training opportunity will immerse awardees in a community of researchers engaging in transdisciplinary biomaterials research while providing career preparation, travel grants, and mentorship within a network of academic and industry professionals.
The BioPACIFIC MIP Fellows Program is now accepting applications from Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Researchers to become a BioPACIFIC MIP Fellow. This unique training opportunity will immerse awardees in a community of researchers engaging in transdisciplinary biomaterials research while providing career preparation, travel grants, and mentorship within a network of academic and industry professionals. Current BioPACIFIC MIP Fellows are eligible and encouraged to reapply.
The application deadline is April 10, so apply today!
The Fellows professional development training experience will include:
- Access to travel conference grant for travel to report MIP related research
- Access to BPM outreach opportunities
- Access to Professional Development events throughout the year including science communication competitions (with prizes).
BioPACIFIC MIP Requirements:
- Attend monthly All-SET meetings
- Attend quarterly all-hands meeting, with integrated social/community building
- Attend quarterly Professional Development Meetings
The application includes:
- 250-word statement of interest that describes your research overlap with the Synergistic Experimental Thrusts (SETs) or the broader BioPACIFIC MIP Mission (cross-cutting across the SETs)
- 200-word statement of interest that describes why you want to become a BioPACIFIC MIP Fellow
- CV/Resume
- Your advisor will be asked to acknowledge your involvement in BioPACIFIC MIP
