The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) is now accepting applications for Fast Track Funding (request under $1000). These applications are due Friday, April 14.

TGIF is a student-governed grant supported by a $3.47 lock-in fee that every UCSB undergraduate and graduate student pays each quarter. It raises over $170,000 per year to fund projects that reduce UCSB's impact on the environment. Any UCSB student, staff, or faculty member is eligible to apply for funding for their projects. Ideal projects will show a quantifiable change (energy, waste, water reduction, etc.) while also educating the campus community.

If you have questions about your project idea, proposal guidelines or the selection process, please contact Jewel Persad at (805) 893-8367 or Jewelpersad@ucsb.edu.

For more information on previously funded projects or to submit an application, please visit the TGIF web site.
