During ​this event, the group will begin brainstorming and sharing strategies to help underrepresented Gauchos navigate their academic and professional lives at UCSB.

You will analyze the introductions of successful grant and fellowship applications and get an understanding of the rhetorical steps involved in writing your own awesome introduction.

Come to our workshop on January 29 to make sure that your CV is in good shape! ​We'll cover the do's and don't's of creating a CV for academic and research-focused industry positions.

Apply to serve as a paid Spanish interpreter for Parent-Teacher conferences at IV Elementary through the Interdisciplinary Humanities Center. This experience will help you use your academic skills in a broader social environment that includes community members, teachers, and school administrators. Apply by Friday, February 2nd.

In this workshop, you will explore your own experiences as a student and TA in ways that will help you understand why you teach the way you teach.
