Join the Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships for some delicious pizza and the opportunity to hear from Rita Blaik, a multidisciplinary scientist and artist based in Los Angeles, California that has dedicated her work to finding new and innovative ways of communicating science to people through workshops, interactive discussions, art, and other media.
Rita Blaik received her PhD in 2015 in Materials Science & Engineering at UCLA constructing novel biofuel cell nano-architectures under the direction of Professor Bruce Dunn. She is currently the Manager of Education at the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) at UCLA, as well as an adjunct faculty member at ArtCenter College of Design.
