We're excited to invite you to a special talk and Q&A by UCSB alumna Dr. Niki Sandoval, current education director of the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians. She will share her graduate school experiences at a roundtable discussion focusing on how she developed her personal pathway to becoming the first Chumash to earn her doctorate at UCSB. She will also discuss the importance of time management and "work/life" balance. We hope attendees will learn how to move forward with their graduate school goals while still maintaining their own sense of self and community.
