Career Development
Thinking about your job or internship and how COVID-19 has impacted your career prospects? Not sure what to do now? This workshop on October 6th will cover how COVID-19 has impacted academic and non-academic jobs, resources to find viable career paths, and help you create a strategy to move forward.
COVID-19 has impacted everyone's lives but especially graduate students and postdocs who are looking for internships or jobs. Although the consensus is that the job markets (both academic and non-academic) are greatly impacted, join us to learn how this directly impacts your career decisions and prospects. It's time to figure out what you can do about it. We will share resources for how to find jobs and discuss how you can make the most of your time in quarantine to effectively look for jobs or internships. We will help you make sense of the overwhelming amount of information and have you leave with a strategy to move forward.
When: Tuesday, October 6, 2020
Time: 12 - 1 PM
