Working Independently as a TA

In this workshop, the facilitator will discuss how to manage TA sections regardless of the input and parameters of the instructor of record. Some topics that will be discussed include managing expectations among the teaching team, finding direction with and for your students, designing assessments that contribute to course content, and focusing on networks of TAs to ease the load and stress of teaching.
