The University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program was established in 1984 to encourage outstanding women and minority Ph.D. recipients to pursue academic careers at the University of California. In Summer 2022, the University of Michigan’s Institute for the Humanities will host Humanities Without Wall’s annual summer workshop for doctoral students interested in learning about diverse careers for humanists. Through a series of workshops, talks, and site visits, participants will learn how to imagine possible futures and leverage their skills and humanities training toward careers in the private sector, the nonprofit world, arts administration, public media, and many other fields.
