The new Leading Edge Fellowship program for recent PhDs aims to demonstrate the potential of people with advanced degrees in the humanities and humanistic social sciences to solve problems outside the academy. Fellows will receive $60,000 to help communities respond to issues caused by the COVID-19 crisis and advance public understanding of the pandemic. Apply by July 31, 2020!

In 1988, the late Mr. Karam Singh Maughan established an endowment to support graduate fellowships to be awarded to graduates or universities in a specific area of India and Pakistan for the purpose of pursuing graduate study at the University of California.
