The Franco-American Fulbright Commission is accepting applications from scholars with PhDs for research projects in three regions of France: Grand Est, Nouvelle Aquitaine, and Hautes de France. While research projects in all disciplines are welcomed, the universities and research centers in these areas primarily focus on the hard and social sciences. The deadline is September 16, 2019.

If you have completed your degree and are looking for a grant to finance a summer research project in the humanities, the NEH Summer Stipend is a great resource. Summer Stipends (max $6,000) support continuous full-time work on a humanities project for a period of two consecutive months. Applications are due by Sept. 25, 2019.

The Harry S. Truman Library Institute offers research grants of up to $2,500 to offset the cost of conducting research at their library and museum. Competitive proposals will demonstrate a clear understanding of the existing research on Truman’s presidency and legacy and how the proposed work contributes to the field. The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study Fellowship Program invites applications from a broad range of fields, including STEM, humanities, social sciences, and creative arts. This opportunity is ideal for postdoctoral scholars, and has separate deadlines for research in the humanities, social sciences, and creative arts (Sept. 12, 2019) and in STEM (Oct. 3, 2019). The Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program is a paid 12 week program at the National Academies in Washington, DC. that teaches the essential skills and knowledge needed to work in science and technology policy at the federal, state, or local levels. Applications are due September 6th, 2019.

The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) provides early-career and senior scientists the opportunity to share in NASA's mission, to reach for new heights and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind.
