Whether you have a letter you're working on or are just thinking about writing a letter, this workshop is for you. All UCSB graduate students and postdocs are welcome, but enrollment is limited to 15 per workshop.

As part of its summer series on preparing for the academic job market, the Graduate Student Resource Center will be hosting a workshop on writing an effective cover letter for positions in academia. Whether you have a letter you're working on or are just thinking about writing a letter, this workshop is for you.

All UCSB graduate students and postdocs are welcome, but enrollment is limited to 15 per workshop, so please RSVP.

If you ​have a completed cover letter, please bring at least two copies for individual and peer feedback (or have a copy on your computer to read).

Writing an Effective Academic Cover Letter

Time: Tuesday, ​July 26, ​1-2 p.m.

Place: Student Resource Building, Room 2154

Food: Snacks will be provided for those who have none.
