OVERVIEW

The Sandia National Laboratories Graduate Student Summer Fellowship offers graduate students in STEM fields the chance to contribute to innovative research addressing critical national security challenges. Fellows collaborate with Sandia scientists and engineers on advanced projects, gaining practical experience and valuable professional development.

DEADLINE
Applications are due by December 1, 2024.

AWARD
Participants receive a stipend, housing allowance, and travel reimbursement.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to U.S. citizens enrolled in a STEM graduate program with a strong academic record and research aligned with Sandia's mission.

DETAILS

The fellowship spans 10-12 weeks and takes place at Sandia facilities in Albuquerque, NM, or Livermore, CA. Participants work on cutting-edge research, connect with leading experts, and engage in professional development activities. Projects span areas like energy security, national defense, and innovative technology applications.
