Next week, UCSB will send its campus 2017 Grad Slam champion, Leah Foltz, up to San Fransisco to compete against 9 other UC finalists in the 3rd annual UC systemwide Grad Slam tournament. Tune in to the live-stream coverage of the event to cheer on Leah and vote in the People's Choice award!
Next week, UCSB will send its campus 2017 Grad Slam champion, Leah Foltz from Biomolecular Science and Engineering, up to San Fransisco to compete against 9 other UC finalists âin the 3rd annual UC systemwide Grad Slam tournament on Thursday, May 4, from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
And it's not just âbragging rights that are âat stake: the grand prize winner will receive $5,000, with $2,000 and $1,000 prizes for the runners-up. There will also be a People's Choice vote this year, and the winner of that will receive $1,000 - so be sure to tune in to the live-stream coverage of the event and vote for Leah!
