Grace Kimball (she/her/per pronouns) is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Theater and Dance with bachelor's and master's degrees in English. She researches sixteenth and seventeenth-century English performance behaviors with an emphasis on performatives, perception, and faith. Grace is an educator and theater practitioner in her department, as well as a freelance director, intimacy director, and playwright. She is also the Shakespeare Association of America Graduate Committee co-chair, an avid reader, and a fitness enthusiast. Grace looks forward to serving her graduate student community as a career peer advisor, where she hopes to encourage her colleagues to make attainable goals and follow their passions as they hit the job market.
