The UC Humanities Research Institute’s graduate student professionalization initiative, Humanists@Work, will hold its final graduate student workshop on April 29 and 30, 2018. The workshop offers theoretical and practical sessions for PhD students considering diverse careers. UCHRI also offers travel grants for students from all UC campuses, so apply by April 1.

The Kennedy/Graves award supports undergraduate and graduate students in any academic discipline who are doing research that pertains to Black Studies. The award also recognizes engaged scholarship that promotes social justice and transformative education. Applications are currently being accepted until March 23, 2018.
