The UCSB Blum Center on Poverty, Inequality, and Democracy invites students and faculty to apply for funding. Two separate funding calls have been announced. Apply before May 26.
OVERVIEW
The UCSB Blum Center is accepting proposals for 2 different research projects from University of California graduate students and faculty working on projects that contribute to understanding rising levels of socio-economic inequality in relation to democratic practices, policies, institutions, and norms. Proposals are invited from students across the disciplines, and particularly from students affiliated with UC departments and programs in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Projects may be historical or contemporary, and may focus on any geographically defined area in the world, including within the U.S. and/or California.
AWARD
Regional equity call can receive up to $10,000
Cooperative economics call can range $2,000 to $4,000
