Stanford University is now accepting applications for postdoctoral fellowships positions with the Pandemic Preparedness Hub. This interdisciplinary fellowship will train recent doctoral graduates from any field who would like to pursue a career in advancing science to prevent or mitigate infectious disease pandemics. The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs at Stanford University is now accepting applications for postdoctoral fellowships in Pandemic Preparedness.

About
This interdisciplinary fellowship will train recent doctoral graduates from any field who would like to pursue a career in advancing science to prevent or mitigate infectious disease pandemics.

Fellows may work with any Stanford faculty members who are affiliated with the new Pandemic Preparedness Hub. Relevant disciplines may include epidemiology, community health, ecology, immunology, clinical-translational science, genetics, biomedical data sciences and health policy. Trainees who have trained in other disciplines and would like to transition their career to focus on infectious diseases are encouraged to apply and should demonstrate their commitment to this path.

Each fellow will create a professional development plan with a professional development plan with a professional mentorship team that includes their scientific mentor and senior faculty in the Pandemic Preparedness Hub. Faculty and fellows will convene regularly to share their work and identify opportunities for synergies across discipline

Eligibility
M.D within three years of completion of clinical training or Ph.D. within three years of graduation as of September 1, 2024.
