UC-National Laboratory In-Residence Graduate Fellowships are 3-year training and dissertation awards to support unique training opportunities at the national laboratories for UC graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, preparing them for careers in science and national security at the national labs, in academia, and in industry. Deadline for submitting a Letter of Intent is June 2, 2022.

UCSB's McNair Scholars Program is recruiting two Graduate Mentors. The goals of McNair are to increase the number of first- generation, low-income and/or underrepresented students in doctoral programs, and to diversify the faculty in colleges and universities across the country. The 2022 Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship Program is now accepting applications. The UC-HSI Research Apprenticeship Program (UC-HSI RAP) aims to support doctoral-level students in the UC who focus their research on Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) empowers students to take direct action and come up with innovative solutions to solve our environmental problems. The L’Oréal USA For Women in Science fellowship program awards five women postdoctoral scientists annually with grants of $60,000.
