This panel on Thursday, February 21st, will address two questions: what is institutionalized racism and how do we navigate a system when we are still a part of it? The goal is to give all affiliated with the university who have experienced institutionalized racism, either consciously or subconsciously, the tools to handle and combat it. Read on for details.

The 6th annual Art of Science competition is now open for submissions! UCSB undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs are invited to tell the story of their research through the aesthetic. First-place will receive a $250 amazon gift card. Prizes of smaller amounts will also be awarded to second, third-place, and community vote winners.
